His award-winning research on the implementation of the Volvo Production System in Volvo AB’s global factory network appears in several top academic journals including the MIT Sloan Management Review.

Torbjörn is currently working with Scandinavian, Swiss and German multinational companies in a wide variety of industries—from process industries to services.

An objective of his research is to bring scientific evidence to the debate on how to manage and succeed with lean programs.
